I have not fallen off the Planet Earth…I promise!

I was totally ashamed when I logged in today and realized it had been nearly 2 weeks since my last blog post! I knew it had been a while, but I didn’t think I was that far behind. I don’t know how that I happened. Well, actually I do.

In the past two weeks, I’ve been:

-celebrating my daughter’s third birthday

-putting an offer in on our first house

-dealing with a fried motherboard and a loaner computer

Not to mention updating, organizing and overhauling Sell Your Writing Online and trying desperately to catch up on my client projects.

Yep…I’ve been a busy little bee! But there are more blog posts to come this week.

Speaking of that loaner computer, it’s my dad’s laptop and I had to show off my mom’s “creative” approach to fixing the problem of the letter displays flaking off the keys. Just in case you all want to save $10 on keyboard decals, you can always use this DIY approach.

Festive, isn’t it? I think my husband and I are going to treat him to some proper decals before we return the laptop on Friday.

Yeouch, a fried MB is never good. I turned a 7 year old MB into a steaming pile and that was NOT a good day. I lucked in though, and found an MB/processor combo for $50 on Newegg :)

Best of luck to you! I hope that everything works out :)

Congratulations on the first two, and sorry about the third. If it’s any consolation, I was away on vacation, so your lack of posting actually helped me catch up quicker. Not much, but every little bit helps. :-)

I did wonder what happened to you. It’s good to know that you’re not trapped under a bookcase or something. Congrats on the house!

Congrats on the house! I look forward to the day when we can do the same.

And it’s good to have you back - I missed your posts!

I had to laugh at the DIY decals - that is just AWESOME!

Thanks guys! It’s nice to know that I was missed. :)

And yep Marce…that’s my mom for you! She’s a throwback to the Great Depression…if you can fix it without spending a dime, then that’s how you should do it!

So right now I’m typing away on Christmas scrapbooking stickers.

My laptop gets here on Friday…along with a new external harddrive! My data was saved..but that was definitely a close call I don’t want to experience again!

Wow, sounds like you have had a lot going on! Congrats on the birthday and the house. And you’re right… your DIY project is festive! ;-)

Here’s to lots of great days soon.

    LOVE the decals, rofl!

I just downloaded your Free Report. That’s some decent stuff you’ve got there. It’s a bit basic, but that’s the point: the free report leaves you wanting more so that you want go get Content Chef as well. Heck, I’ve been freelance writing for several years, and I’m thinking about purchasing it myself!

Also, I’m intrigued by your “Sell Your Writing Online” site. I think I’m going to feature your sites and your free report tomorrow in my “WAHM-portunity” post at my site.

Thanks! I appreciate the review and the plug! It’s funny..I wrote the report months and months before I ever thought of or wrote the Content Chef. I’ve updated it since I released the ebook. I’m glad they appear to “go together.” :)

I just got my laptop back Friday…it’s so good to be typing on actual keys!

If you are using stickers, why not arrange the keys a bit different so you would have the optimized Dvorak keyboard? :)

Wow…is that more ergonomically correct? Or are they arranged according to their common use? I do so much touch typing that would reeeealllly screw me up! ;)
